Madeline Nguyen, OD, FAAO
Dr. Nguyen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Houston in 2002 and later received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO) in 2006. At which time she received various awards including excellence in primary care as well as exemplary clinician. She then completed a family practice residency program at UHCO with an emphasis on low vision and ocular pathology.
She is a certified optometric glaucoma specialist and has experience with various ocular pathologies. She has also completed a specialist contact lens training seminar.
Dr. Nguyen is currently a member of the American Academy of Optometry and has obtained her Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO). She was published as first author on an academic poster discussing a rare case involving bilateral macular holes in 2007.
Nadine Shihabeddin, OD
Dr. Shihabeddin received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Microbiology from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in 2017, and later received her Doctor of Optometry degree from The University of Houston College of Optometry (UHCO) in 2022. Dr. Shihabeddin was involved in 3 publications while doing research at UTA and received a student fellowship while attending UHCO.
She is a certified optometric glaucoma specialist with a Certificate of Professional Development for Myopia Management.
Dr. Shihabeddin is currently a member of the American Academy of Optometry and Texas Optometric Association.
Megan Stubinski, OD
Dr. Stubinski received her Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. A Bachelor of Science degree was obtained from Southeast Missouri State University and pre-requisites for Optometry were completed at University of Houston.
She is currently working toward her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. She is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a therapeutic optometrist and an optometric glaucoma specialist. This licensure allows her to manage and treat ocular diseases. She also fits low vision devices for visually impaired individuals.
She has been recognized by the University of Houston College of Optometry for her excellence as a clinician in primary care optometry and in neuro-ophthalmology.
